Family of Five, Including Artists, Helped to Relocate After Katrina
A family of five displaced (or, as they say, placed by God in Dothan) by Katrina, were in search of work and housing. God provided work for the father during the month the family spent in a hotel room, and the mother homeschooled her children. Whatever they needed, God provided and God opened the door to greater things for this family when he led the father to paint a mural in a local restaurant managed by a friend of His Fortress Ministry. His Fortress was able to secure a home and help with initial monetary needs and furnishings. This family now has room to spread out and each child has a room of his or her own. The father continues to seek employment painting murals and all inquiries for his hire are welcome by His Fortress.
Their oldest daughter, Lacy, also a Christian artist, is currently seeking to obtain her GED and secure part-time employment. At age 17, without any formal art training, she painted the beautiful scene at left of Joseph, Mary and Jesus. Please feel free to Contact Us to inquire about artwork or if you wish to help this family.
